We are excited to announce that construction is underway for a world-class automotive history museum at 108 S. 4th as part of Salina’s downtown redevelopment project. Demolition was started June 15th on the existing building with restructuring happening now. With 90% of the subcontractors being local, this is a great redevelopment project for Downtown Salina. The museum will also have an educational component with exhibits to teach visitors how motors operate, how to change a tire, the history of the automobile and more. Expected opening June 2021.
